Sentrupert Comunity Centre 2012
This project was a part of my study intership in College of design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The task was to design a community centre placed in a n old folk skanzen in a Šentrupert village in Slovenia countryside. The skanzen itself consists from several old “hayracks”, which were collected from whole country and placed to this village, to make this skanzen, showing the national history. The building have two purposes. On the one side, it is a place, where can tourists get information, or take a rest, and on the other side is a community centre, with a big hall located in the underground. I wanted to make the shape of the building very simple and useful. The shape makes it possible to walk on the green roof, which also works as a view point.
