Only when the lakes and rivers will get dry, only the we will see how deep they were 2023

"We are running out of resources, nature is exhausted, but still there is so much power in it, which never runs out, and yet we do not work with it at all - the mills and theirs revolution"

Nature - river - water. Society - bridge - man. From the everything to the basic, the smallest. The hierarchy of nature, whose symbol is the river, and the hierarchy of society, whose symbol is a bridge. And they intersect in the middle. In our eyes, the bridge is a symbol of the transition to the other side, maybe to the other world? A new, different, better world? Is it a symbol of change? But a symbol of change is also water, or a river - purification. Water washes, water cleans, we can wash our soul with water and clear our sins.

But how are we supposed to clean ourselves with water that we constantly pollute? It's a paradox from which there is no escape.

Water is so close and yet so far. Man moves away from water, or better in other words, man makes the water to be far from himself. Why? Because he is probably afraid of it. Man wants to control nature and therefore also water. We think we can control the uncontrollable and so we change the direction and functioning of water, water surfaces, water streams. We are building dams, bridges, adjust riverbeds or banks. But water does not give up and one has to control it more and more, so that she does not dominate him. As the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said: “Water is liquid, soft and pliable. But water can wash away a rock that is solid and cannot yield."

Human, stubborn as a stone, keeps pushing the water away from his life until it dissapears completely. But then it will be too late. Man is water and without water he will pass away.
And then the bridges will pass.

But water, she will remain. She will return to where she was before.
